Preparation of Rangzhin Luechhu (Jeevamrut)
It is a liquid manure prepared by fermenting the mixture of locally available material and it contains high nutrients required by the plants.
Materials required for 1000 litres tank
1. Jaggery/brown sugar- 6 kg
2. Cow dung- 35 kg
3. Cow urine- 10 L
4. Besan-2 kg
5.Water-1000 L
6. A handful of fertile soil
Process
1. Mix all the ingredients of required quantity in the tank and let it ferment for 5 days (remove toxins).
2. Stir the mixture 2-3 times a day.
3. The fertilizers can be used after five days and can be used for 8 days.
4. Filter the liquid and dilute with water at 1:1 ratio.
5. Start application after one month of sowing or transplanting. Apply once at the interval of 15 – 21 days.
